What is the difference between Thermage FLX and Ultherapy PRIME?
Ultherapy PRIME uses focused ultrasound, while Thermage FLX uses radiofrequency. Thermage cools the epidermis first before delivering radiofrequency to the dermis. The doctor will determine which option is right for you during the consultation after evaluating your facial condition.
In what cases is Ultherapy or Thermage not recommended?
If you received the procedure recently (evaluations vary between 3 to 6 months depending on the doctor), have low facial fat, or sagging is not yet severe, the number of shots may be reduced or the procedure may not be recommended. The actual assessment is made during the consultation.
Why is Titanium or ONDA recommended together?
If facial tissue volume is low or hollowness is severe, we explain that the number of Ultherapy shots may be reduced to target specific areas only, or supplemented with Titanium or ONDA (mainly using 3mm tips).
Does Ultherapy always cause cheek hollowness?
No, it does not. This is a common misconception among patients. We assess facial fat volume first; if fat volume is low or hollowness is already present, we reduce the number of shots or use alternative methods.
If I get a lifting treatment once, do I not need maintenance afterward?
No. Receiving a treatment once does not mean no further care is needed. You can discuss treatment intervals and future plans with the doctor.
If lifting treatments are repeated, are more shots needed in the future?
This is another common misconception. The number of shots is adjusted according to your facial condition at that time, after designing right before each procedure.
Does Thermage FLX use genuine tips?
